The Mozilla Firefox is a web browser, gopher client and FTP client task descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 16.98% of the recorded usage share of Web browsers as of January 2008, building it the second-most-popular browser in present use worldwide after Internet Explorer.
Firefox uses the open-source Gecko layout engine, which executes some existing Web standards plus some features which are intended to anticipate possible additions to the standards. Firefox has tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and a search system that uses Google. Right now has 20 million users and allows you to import your favorites, settings and other details from Internet Explorer.
